Refund policy

Your UK statutory rights (the baseline)

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 you can reject goods that arrive faulty or not as described and receive a full refund, and the retailer must pay that refund within 14 days of agreeing it legislation.gov.uk.
The Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 also let you cancel any “distance sale” within 14 days of delivery and send the item back within another 14 days gov.uk.

1. When you can return something to us

Pre-owned or NOS items

  • Email us within 14 calendar days of the parcel showing as delivered if the item you received does not match the description or photos on the product page.**

  • We will authorise a return and examine the item when it arrives. If we agree it was mis-described we refund you in full. 

Brand-new items

  • You may send a new item back “no questions asked” within the same 14-day window.

  • After inspection we issue a full refund only if the item is still in factory-new condition, with all retail packaging, seals, labels and accessories.

  • If anything is missing or damaged we will contact you and, at our discretion, refuse the claim or issue a partial refund that reflects the loss in resale value.

2. How to start a return

  1. Write to crimsonjapanhelp@gmail.com quoting your order number and attaching clear photographs.

  2. We reply with an RETURN code and the returns address.

  3. Pack the product safely, mark the RETURN code on the label and use a tracked service.

  4. Keep your postal receipt—goods remain your responsibility until they reach us.

3. Who pays for postage

  • If we shipped the wrong SKU or the courier damaged the parcel in transit or you don’t think the item matches the description and photos**, we cover return freight or send a replacement at our cost.

  • For every other return the customer pays outward postage. We do not refund shipping upgrades, customs fees or taxes you may have paid to receive the item.

4. Inspection and refunds

  • We check all returns within 1-2 business days of arrival.

  • When a refund is agreed it is processed to your original payment method within 14 days, in line with the Consumer Contracts Regulations legislation.gov.uk.

  • If a claim is denied or reduced we supply photographs and an explanation.

5. Items that cannot be returned

  • Custom-cut gaskets or wiring looms that have been opened.

  • Any product we marked “Pre-order, Custom, Made-to-order, Exclusive ” on its listing.
